Gary Player Channeling Bobby Locke

I am always interested in learning about Bobby Locke. Gary Player shows what Locke's putting stroke looked like. Right aim bias be damned!

According to Geoff Mangum's Putting Zone site, Locke used to putt this way because he wanted to make sure he didn't cut across the ball with his putting stroke as he felt that was a death move.

Would I suggest putting like Locke?

No.

But I think it goes to show that you can have a lot of success with all sorts of putting strokes, just stay away from the cutting across stroke.
