Straight Spine vs. Rounded Spine

A lot of golfers and instructors talk about 'posture', wanting the spine to be 'straight' at address. Here golf professional Ted Long, explains a few reasons why a straight spine is not good for a golf swing.

yes, he's against the Adam Scott/Tiger look. Although Tiger may change what he does under Foley. The straight spine is actually bad for your lower back.

I built more lean and mean and probably have that high butt look.

I did notice how that seemed to restrict the hip turn which can lead to the arms just lifting in the backswing.

Great find, Rich. I'm going to keep an eye on this instructor.
